THE MAA
Samburu, Northern Kenya — 2024. Portraits made over three days along the Ewaso Nyiro — among the women in ceremony and the men who move with the land. A semi-nomadic Maa-speaking people of the semi-arid north, the Samburu maintain pastoral traditions and cultural practices largely intact. The photographs work within the space between access and presence.
