I'm Trevor Maingi, a photographer and filmmaker based in Nairobi.

I document what catches my eye: a face, a place, the way light falls on a quiet street. The small moments that say everything.

With a background in Aerospace Engineering, I chose to walk away and chase something wilder. What started in 2014 with a phone became an obsession, then with the story behind it. Documentary, travel, and people are where I live.

My films sit somewhere between structure and chaos, deliberate sometimes, instinctive others.

Either way, they share one thing: a search to share stories.
