Few people are as grounded in joy and life as Herma & Bruck. Their wedding at Beach Palace in Watamu was filled with pure laughter, intimacy, and the kind of moments that linger long after the day ends.

What stood out most was the way Bruck never stopped looking at Herma, completely captivated, excited for every step of their new adventure together.

Shooting Herma & Bruck’s wedding on both 35mm and 120 film felt like the only way to honor the intimacy of their day. Drawn to the timeless beauty of the medium and the way it holds emotion with such honesty. Documenting their day across both formats allowed me to capture the small glances, the bursts of laughter, and the deep stillness in a way that feels as alive as the day itself.

Everything came together seamlessly, and it was an honor to celebrate with them.
